Florida Aquarium Eco Tour

Daniel giving the opening announcements.  My son with a microphone.  Go figure.

Great view of downtown Tampa and Harbor Island as we cruise through the channel that leads to Tampa Bay.

More views of Harbor Island as we head to Tampa Bay.

 Davis Island

Looking out towards Tampa Bay.  Would have been a great shot if I didn't get that guy's fat head in the picture.

Tampa Bay.  I was sitting in the front of the boat with the manager of HR and her husband the Florida Aquarium A/V guy.  They both said how much they loved Daniel.  I was so proud of him!

Beautiful water!!

It is Daniel's job on the Eco Tour to narrate the tour.  He also point out where we can spot dolphins!  We saw quite a few, but unfortunately, I did not get any pictures of them.  Those dolphins are quick!
I also learned something, thanks to Daniel.  Did you know every dolphin's dorcel fin is unique, just like a finger print.

Blue skies

Daniel announced that the dolphins liked to play in the wake of boats, purely for pleasure.  I was hoping to catch one, but no such luck.

Daniel

Here is me!

Okay the wind was not really cooperating with my hair.

Daniel is so lucky to have such a fun job!  Thank God he has absolutely no fear of public speaking.

Returning back...
Oh, by the way, at one point the ship ran aground while it was going around an island.  whoops

Good shot of downtown as we return.  We enter on the channel to the left.

See?  We are veering slightly to the left.

Harbor Island!

Next time you are going with me!  This was a great way to spend the afternoon.
Love you sweetie!
